Paul Hulme is one of TSC’s longest serving members of the team. Paul is a real craftsman who has perfected his specialist skills in the sign industry over the course of many years. His skills are specialised in screen-printing and his process incorporates both traditional and contemporary methods to produce an amazing finished product.
In this Guide, Paul will guide you through the process and methods he uses in screen-printing
- Retrieving the appropriate frame from the wide variety made by Paul within TSC over the years
 2. Preparing the Frame positioning, alignment and clamping
3 Preparing the positioning and alignment of the printing bed, accounting for the materials height width and thickness
4 Preparing the two blades of the machine, a process of changing and thoroughly cleaning then alignment and distance orientation before attaching and setting up
5 Ink preparation – a mixture of colour, thinner and retarder, mixed by hand and to pinpoint colour accuracy by Paul with a ratio know only to himself, Paul accounts for temperature and pressure within his ink mixing process
